School-based ABA services provide individualized support to help your child succeed in educational settings. A trained professional, a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), accompanies your child in the classroom to assist with behavior management, social interactions, and skill generalization. The RBT works collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure your child can participate in academic activities and follow classroom routines effectively. By addressing challenges in real time and reinforcing positive behaviors, school shadowing helps your child build independence, improve peer relationships, and adapt to the school environment. This service bridges the gap between therapy and education, promoting consistent progress in both settings.

Benefits:

  • Provides one-on-one support to meet your child’s needs in the classroom.

  • Reduces challenging behaviors by reinforcing positive actions in real time.

  • Encourages positive social interactions and peer relationships.

  • Helps transfer therapy skills to the school setting for consistency.

  • Promotes participation in academic activities with minimal prompts.

  • Fosters communication and collaboration between ABA professionals and school staff.

  • Helps your child stay focused, improving academic performance and engagement.

  • Enables immediate intervention and feedback to prevent escalation of problem behaviors.
